Senior Project Manager Emily Fredette Wins 2024 Founders Award
Recognizing CWC’s Best
Each year, we honor employees who consistently go above and beyond the day-to-day expectations and deliver exceptional performance on the job, amongst their peers, and in the community. The CWC Founders Award was created to provide the name and physical recognition for those whom this award is bestowed upon yearly. This year, Senior Project Manager Emily Fredette was a recipient.
Making a Difference on Education Projects
Emily joined CWC in 2022 and has already contributed to the successful completion of numerous CWC projects, including NoSHA, Oakcrest Athletic Center, Landon School, and The Potomac School. Primarily focused on CWC’s Education sector, Emily is currently working on the Conway Education Center project in Washington, DC, where we are constructing a new special needs learning facility for Catholic Charities DC. She has also been providing leadership on our Foxcroft School STEAM project in Middleburg, VA.
A Community Leader
In addition to her stellar work in project management, Emily has led several other initiatives. In September, she organized a group of CWC volunteers to participate in DCBIA’s Community Improvement Day, where our team members, along with our industry colleagues, spent a day making improvements to Marvin Gaye Park in Washington, DC. She has also volunteered at Camp NAWIC, a program organized by the National Association of Women in Construction that teaches young girls about construction through hands-on activities.
One of her colleagues best described her get-it-done attitude: “Emily has the absolute drive and care that every CWC employee is expected to have. She exemplifies the CWC way, and her commitment to the job is inspirational.”
Please join us in congratulating Emily on winning the Founders Award!
