The Kite TCF05 Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility is a cutting-edge biomanufacturing facility that produces T-Cell therapies focused on curing cancer. The 20-acre site, located in Frederick, Maryland, includes a 200,000 sf manufacturing building, a 60,000 sf office building, and 900 parking spaces. The project achieved LEED Silver Certification through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
The buildings are connected to two electrical service lines which build reliance and redundancy to ensure patient supply. The manufacturing building consists of prefabricated laboratory units, a warehouse area with a loading dock, and a 78,000 sf shell space constructed for future expansion. The two-story office building includes office space, a fitness center with locker rooms, a kitchen, and a dining area.
