Coakley & Williams Construction was the general contractor for the lobby and façade expansion and renovation of the 2440 M Street building. The existing lobby entry structure was demolished along with the exterior decorative metal work and limited brick at the façade. The existing lobby was renovated with new floor and wall finishes, ceiling, and lighting. In addition, a new four-story storefront was installed along with an automatic revolving door.
